Apply Dermovate Cream thinly to the affected area and rub it gently using enough cream to cover the affected area, one or two times a day until the condition improves, then reduce its frequency or change to a less potent corticosteroid. Allow some time between the application of two creams/ointments.

To control reappearing of the skin conditions, repeated short courses of Dermovate Cream are useful.

Do not apply it to infected or broken skin areas unless it is the area where the infection is being treated. Ensure that the cream does not get into your eyes, nose, mouth, or mouth. If you accidentally apply the cream, rinse it with cold water.

If you are not using the cream on your hands, wash your hands thoroughly after applying the cream.

If you are not directed by your doctor, don't cover the area being treated with this medication using bandages or other airtight coverings.
