Calendula has been used for generations and is famous for its multiple skin conditioning properties. Nelsons Calendula Cream is carefully prepared using the purest extracts from the Calendula plant to:
- Soothe tired skin.
- Restore dry or flaky skin.
- Prevent dehydration.
- Moisturise cracked skin.
- Fight against the drying effects of the elements.
- Smooth chapped skin.
Apply the cream to cover more than the affected area. Cover with a dry dressing and bandage lightly if necessary. Wash hands before and after use.
- Adults, the elderly and children over 6 years: Apply liberally to affected area 4 times a day as required.
- Children under 6 years: Not recommended.
- Active Ingredient: Calendula Officinalis Tincture 0.9% v/w.
- Other Ingredients: Purified Water, Arlacel 170 (Glyceryl Stearate and PEG-100 Stearate), Apricot Kernel Oil, Theobroma Oil (Cocoa Butter), Glycerol, Polawax GP 200 (Cetearyl alcohol, PEG-20 Stearate), Cetostearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Palmitate, Glyceryl Monocaprylate, Methyl Parahydroxybenzoate E218, Propyl Parahydroxybenzoate E216, Fragrance (Compo Cos: benzyl benzoate;propanol -oxybis; benzoate, 2,4-dihydro-3,6-dimethyl-, methyl; oils,oakmoss-resinoid).
- If symptoms worsen or if signs of a skin infection are observed or if symptoms persist after using the product for 1 week, a doctor or a qualified healthcare practitioner should be consulted.
- Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
- Do not use if you are under 6 years of age.
- Side effects are rare. If you notice anything unusual or symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
- If pregnant or breastfeeding consult your doctor before use.
- Do not use if sensitive to any ingredients.
- Do no use after the expiry date shown.
- Store below 25°C.
- Cetearyl alcohol may cause skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis).
- Methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218) and propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216) in this medicine may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).
